2024 Masterplan Vision

The emerging masterplan sets out the vision for future development at Hatton Villages, detailing the commitment to create a vibrant, sustainable community of up to 4500 homes, prioritising the use of public transport and active travel over private vehicles.   

Over the course of 2023 and 2024, the project team has conducted technical investigations into the site and surrounding area to better understand and map the site’s opportunities and constraints, including crucial considerations around drainage, ecology, heritage and key views.

Creating a new community is about far more than just building houses. It is essential we create an accessible and inclusive place where people can grow, work and play. Hatton Villages will deliver crucial new local services, including three new schools and a community health hub including a GP surgery, pharmacy, and dental services. The masterplan also includes new space for work, retail and leisure facilities alongside usable landscaping, active travel routes, and accessible green spaces, including a linear park alongside the Grand Union Canal. 

The emerging masterplan for Hatton Villages has been shared with key local stakeholders, including local parishes, the MP, ward members, and other councillors at Warwick District Council. The views and priorities of the Local Plan and transport officers have also played important roles in shaping the new community’s design. 

The masterplan will continue to evolve with further stakeholder feedback and technical investigations.
